Fishing can be glamorous!

I thought this deserved a write up, and I'm sure you'll enjoy reading about our day, and the snaps of course!

Screamer Baits are new to the market and to launch any new product you need good photos. This article's aim isn't to sell products, it's to share our days experience and we hope that you find it an enjoyable read.

We didn't have thousands of pounds for this, but it didn't put us off trying for the professional results, and we got them!

I'm lucky because I have great friends and everyone pulled out the stops to help.

We were provided with the perfect studio space at River Media, located at Liverpool's Tea Factory (thanks Jon).

Nicky Taylor  - is a top photographer and one of my best friends, and she didn't hesitate to help, even being heavily pregnant didn't stop her from stepping up for the job - typical Nicky!!!

That just left the models and even though I'd do anything and everything to help, sadly this is just something I didn't have the talent for!

Getting good models on a small budget isn't an easy task, especially when you're asking them to pose for fishing bait.......called Screamers!

So when Becci and Kerry stepped in and said they'd do it for the giggle, we really couldn't believe our luck.  Euan I'm still not sure how or what you did to get them to agree to this!

We wanted outdoor and indoor shots, but on the day the weather was grim so that put the blocks on that.  Instead we headed straight to the studio.

The studio was up 4 flights of stairs and as Nix was 7mths preggers she was only allowed to carry a fishing umbrella, so I could have done with a bit of help...where do the men go when you need them hey?!

Jon was out of the office, Euan was fashionably late and Phill my loyal and faithful partner in crime was fishing (again!) So that left me....

I put Nicky on guard to watch the beady eyed traffic warden, and I ran up and down with the stuff like a mad lady.

After what seemed like a zillion trips up and down the stairs with bivvys, chairs, beds, rods and other bits and bobs we got everything in and set up.

Euan arrived closely followed by the girls who quickly changed into their vest tops... which were a size too small,  this was down to Euan not me.  It was funny though, as at certain angles the 'S' from Screamers was hidden so it read Creamer Baits (thank goodness for photoshop).

The only direction given to the girls was to enjoy it and have a laugh, and we all did!

Nicky thought it would be a great to get a few close up shots, so lay on the floor forgetting she was pregnant and couldn't get back up - I caught her climbing up the walls to help bring herself back up to a standing position.  I would have helped but it was very funny to watch.

It didn't take long to get the snaps we needed, and I'm sure you'll agree that Becci and Kerry look great!

We know it's a bit different getting girls to pose for fishing bait, but I'm sure you'll agree that you'll notice them in the next edition of Anglers Mail that you read.

So next time you come across a Screamers promotion, you'll know just how it got there and what went on behind the scenes.

We would like to say another big thanks to everyone - Becci, Kerry, Nicky, Euan and Jon - without you all it just wouldn't have been possible.
